NAWS Humane Society of Mokena suffers as a result of quarantine

"We wish to thank those of you that have been calling, texting and e-mailing us to check in during this incredibly awful time. The rumors are true - due to the Coronavirus restrictions put into place, NAWS has been forced to close to the public for Adoptions, Boarding and Daycare services until further notice. We are therefore at risk of closing permanently. Our Medical Services will still be available on certain days. We currently have over 300 pets in our care and we are scared and sickened to think of what will happen to them if we close. We are also worried about all of the low income and homeless pets out there that we rescue and serve each day. Please help us so we can continue to help them! You're our only hope. Please spread the word to donate to our GoFundMe "Keep Our Pets Alive" Campaign. Bless you all and please stay well." - Founder, Stacy Gaskins
