SSL 5K comes to Lincoln-Way June 5 2021

There is a new way to stay in shape this summer and assist a fabulous local non-profit at the same time.

The Suburban Service League, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit based in Frankfort provides financial assistance through fundraising events to individuals and organizations in need, focusing on the southern suburbs.

On Saturday June 5 the SSL launches their first-ever competitive race, The Difference Maker 5K, a timed 5K walk/run and kids fun run right in downtown Frankfort, with a 9AM start at Breidert Green.

Prizes will be provided to overall top male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group, and all Kids Fun Run participants also receive a medal.

This is going to be a great morning for the entire family! Stick around and enjoy good music, great food, & entertainment for all.

Historic Downtown Frankfort boasts many spectacular restaurants, quaint shops, & boutiques for all, so plan to make a day of it.

Each participant receives a t-shirt and goodie bag. You can even participate virtually from anywhere, and still receive a t-shirt.
