Tinley Motorcyclist Killed In Crash, Orland Woman Charged
Police said the 50-year-old was struck by another vehicle and pronounced dead just before midnight Sunday.
MOKENA, IL — A Tinley Park man died late Sunday after his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle, according to the Will County Coroner's office, and an Orland woman is facing charges. Alexander Brongel, 50, of the 17700 block of 64th Court in Tinley Park, was pronounced dead at 11:51 p.m. at the Silver Cross Hospital Emergency Room.
Brongel was the driver of a motorcycle that was struck by another vehicle at 195th Street and Wolf Road in Mokena, the coroner's office said.
The driver of the other vehicle was later identified Tuesday as Jansen A. Ardiente, 27, of the 8000 block of Braeburn Lane in Orland Park.

Ardiente is charged with aggravated DUI, a Class 2 felony, according to a press release from the Mokena Police Department. She is being held at Will County Adult Detention Facility awaiting a hearing. Her bond was set at $200,000, according to jail records, and she is due back in court Thursday.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
