Village Of Mokena: James Kulesa Named Public Works Director

The Village of Mokena has a new Public Works Director. At its June 14 meeting, the Mokena Village Board ratified the appointment of James Kulesa to the position, filling the slot left vacant when long-time Public Works Director Lou Tiberi retired last year.

The selection and hiring of Mr. Kulesa follows the second of two recruitment processes conducted over the past year, the most recent of which saw 183 applicants for the position.

A Mokena resident, Mr. Kulesa possesses 25+ years of experience in the private sector as a plant director, manufacturing site leader, and process/operations improvement strategist.
