Watering Restrictions In Place: Village

As a reminder, seasonal watering restrictions are in effect. With high heat and drought-like conditions expected for the foreseeable future, your help in abiding by these restrictions is needed now for the safety and well-being of the Mokena community.

Outdoor lawn watering is allowed only on an odd/even basis from 7-11 a.m. and from 7-11 p.m. On odd-numbered days of the month, residents with odd-numbered addresses may water their lawns, and on even-numbered days of the month, residents with even-numbered addresses may water their lawns.

Given current conditions, we further encourage you to consider skipping your next one or two scheduled lawn waterings until the weather moderates. Talk to your neighbors and encourage them to do the same.
