Seasonal Watering Restrictions In Effect In Mokena
Outdoor lawn watering is allowed only on an odd/even basis from 7-11 a.m. and from 7-11 p.m., the village said.
MOKENA, IL — With the start of summer and hot temperatures, the Village of Mokena is reminding residents that seasonal watering restrictions are in effect once more.
Outdoor lawn watering is allowed only on an odd/even basis from 7-11 a.m. and from 7-11 p.m., the village said. On odd-numbered days of the month, residents with odd-numbered addresses may water their lawns, and on even-numbered days of the month, residents with even-numbered addresses may water their lawns.
"Please do your part to ensure an adequate water supply for public safety purposes by abiding by the current restrictions," the village said in a news release.
