Wolf Road Closure Begins Monday
Repairs to the bridge deck over Hickory Creek will close a portion of Wolf Road in Mokena beginning on July 16.

MOKENA, IL - A nearly mile stretch of Wolf Road in Mokena will be closed to traffic for much of the summer. Village officials are giving residents a two week notice of the closure planned from July 16 until August 17.
The thoroughfare will be closed between Plattner Drive and Abbey Road during that time as repair work takes place to the bridge deck over Hickory Creek. This Illinois Department of Transportation project will consist of full-depth deck slab repairs, complete bridge deck concrete overlay and striping.
During the course of construction, north/south traffic will be detoured to La Grange Road, while La Porte Road and U.S. Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) will continue to carry east/west traffic.
