Christmas 2017: Naperville Hosts Pictures With Santa & More

Santa House is comin' to town, as are several other Naperville Christmastime events. Mark your calendars!

NAPERVILLE, IL — Santa House, a Naperville tradition, will come to life once again Dec. 1. Santa's Naperville headquarters will be at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Webster Street, under the pavilion. The free event, sponsored by Woody Buick GMC, is in its 16th year. What do you want for Christmas?

Hours of operation:

  • Fridays, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays, noon - 6 p.m. through Dec. 23
  • Extended weekday hours: Dec. 19 - 21, 4 - 8 p.m.

  • Western DuPage Special Recreation Association is helping with special needs nights Dec. 4 - 6, Dec. 14
  • Pet night is Dec. 11. (booked)
  • Military and first responders is Ded. 12 (booked)

Admission is free with the option to purchase photos with Santa for $8, or two for $15. Santa House relies on volunteers and sponsors, according to a press release from the Naperville Park District. Volunteer positions are still open for Santa House and other holiday events.

Other Christmastime occasions in the area include the Christkindlmarket at Naper Settlement, which opens Nov. 24. and the Naperville Trolley Holiday Lights tour, covering the North or South side of town.

If your pups were hoping pose with Santa, Two Bostons is hosting a pictures with Santa event Saturday, Dec. 2 from noon 'til 3 p.m. at its Naperville Springbrook location at 2523 W. 75th St. The event is free, but donations to help Midwest Lab Rescue and the West Suburban Humane Society are appreciated. Bring your pet on a non-retractable leash.
