1 Dead After Edens Spur Accident
Only one vehicle was involved in the early morning crash on Dec. 20.
The following report was part of Northbrook's weekly staff memo.
At about 3:00 a.m. on Dec. 20, crews responded to a vehicle accident at the 25 mile marker of the Edens Spur. Upon arrival crews found a single vehicle that had left the roadway striking a bridge column and rolling over.
The single occupant of the vehicle did not survive the accident and no other vehicles were involved. The accident is under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
Northbrook crews were assisted by Deerfield Fire Department.
