1st Annual Northwest Martin Luther King Jr. "Unity in Community" Dinner

Greetings My Neighbors

Happy 2017!

The New Year is about a resolve to things new and exciting. With this in mind, on Monday, January 16 from 6:30 PM - 8 PM you are cordially invited to something that will be both new and exciting - the 1st Annual Northwest Martin Luther King Jr. "Unity in Community" Dinner.

We'll gather together as neighbors for a meal at the Wildwood Tavern (6480 W. Touhy) to discuss, to share and to act in the spirit of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., our fellow American citizen who accomplished great things for so many of us. To get our conversation going, we'll take a look at our national perceptions and beliefs about white and black America using some recent information from the Pew Center, a well-respected organization that helps Americans understand what Americans are thinking.

All ages are very much welcome.
Parking is easy.
Public transportation is available.
Suburbs and city alike are invited.

More information to follow.. For now, mark your calendars for the 1st Annual NW MLK "Unity in Community" Dinner on Monday, January 16, from 6:30 PM - 8 PM at the Wildwood Tavern in Niles.

To RSVP today or if you have questions, send an email with your name to Jac Charlier at jac.charlier@gmail.com or to Adele Bach at adelebach@earthlink.net.

**The 1st Annual NW MLK "Unity in Community" Dinner is being organized by citizens of the Northwest (NW) area. If you are interested in joining our citizen-led team of neighbors, send us a note. We'll do this together now and every year hereafter.
