9/11 first responders patriots day community neighborhoods victims national day of service

Greetings My Neighbors,

The Edgebrook Community Association welcomes all to our 4th Annual September 11 Day of Remembrance and Flag Ceremony for the 9/11 victims and their families. On this day, designated Patriot's Day, we will also serve our neighbors and honor our local first responders. Regardless of the community in which you live - city or suburbs - please join us on Sunday, September 10 at 10 AM at the Edgebrook Triangle (Devon, Lehigh and Caldwell). The Day of Remembrance Ceremony will conclude by 10:30 AM.

Patriot's Day is also designated as a National Day of Service. A listing of local community participating organizations in the 9/11 National Day of Service can be found here: https://www.allforgood.org/sea...

As has been the case since we first started our 9/11 Community Day of Remembrance, our local first responders are especially invited to attend.

The Ceremony is performed by Jac Charlier and Dennis Paterka, Edgebrook veterans. We also invite those attending to participate in our community ceremony through readings we will have available at the Ceremony.

Finally, 9/11 is designated as a day for flying the United States flag at half-staff. If you cannot place it at half-staff because it is fixed, in accordance with the United States Flag Code, a black ribbon is to be hung with the flag. Please see the attached picture.
