Archbishop Cupich Celebrates Mass at Notre Dame College Prep
The Chicago Archbishop welcomed 800 students at the first service of the school year.

Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich celebrated Mass and toured Notre Dame College Prep in Niles at their first service of the school year on Tuesday Aug. 30.

Speaking to students, Cupich preached a message of community in his homily. He encouraged them build friendships and to push each other to be better. He said students should, “Live in a way that makes a difference.”Joining Cupich in celebrating Mass were teacher Rev. Richard Conyers, Notre Dame Chaplain Rev. Daniel McCarthy, Our Lady of Ransom Pastor Rev. Chris Gustafson, who is a member of a member of Notre Dame’s board of directors, and Deacon Jim Ernst of Our Lady of Hope in Rosemont.
