Bells of Peace Ceremony - Veterans Day 2018 #TolltheBells

Greetings My Neighbors!
It's time to take a pause as we now turn our attention to get ready for Veterans Day 2018. On Sunday, November 11 at 11 AM, join with your neighbors from across our shared Northwest area as we conduct a very special ceremony this year, the Bells of Peace. We will meet at North Park Village, Building H, Veterans Memorial. Parking is readily available.
What is the Bells of Peace Ceremony?

It's the multi-nation commemoration of the end of WWI and Armistice Day. More here, including the downloadable Bells of Peace app, on the World War One Centennial Commission: www.worldwar1centennial.org We will toll the Bells of Peace 21 times to ensure the ring of peace and not the sound of conflict is what guides our way forward as a people.
As always for all of our Veterans Day ceremonies over the years, we will perform a flag ceremony, honor all women and male veterans living and deceased, and recognize their families, some of whom carry the burden of their loss still today.

All are welcome. You do not need to be a veteran. All military branches and all eras welcome.
Finally, as in the past, we will collect for proper disposal US flags that are no longer appropriate to be flown. Also, we will conduct US flag folding if needed.
