Burglar Destroys $7,500 Of Stuff, Steals Pet Dog
And if that's not Grinch-like enough, the Morton Grove crime happened the day before Christmas Eve.
Morton Grove Police reported that on Dec. 23, someone broke into a home in the 6900 block of Beckwith. During the burglary, the person destroyed a television valued at $4,000, as well as $3,500 worth of audio equipment.
All four tires on the victim's vehicle were slashed, and the victim's pet dog, a Shih Tzu, was stolen.
