A car struck and seriously injured a woman on the 9600 block of Greenwood Ave. around 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, according to WLS.
Police stated that a black Jeep Patriot with tinted windows and Illinois license plates hit the woman and kept traveling northbound on Greenwood Avenue past Milwaukee Avenue.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Lutheran General Hospital.
