Fandom Fest Returns to Local Library
All are welcome to the Second Annual Fandom Fest at the Niles-Maine District Library.
Niles-Maine District Library invites the community to one of its biggest events of the year on Saturday, August 17 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Fandom Fest is a free, all ages, family-friendly event celebrating comics and pop culture. The first 250 attendees will receive a swag bag.
What You Can Expect at Fandom Fest:
• Gaming for all ages
• Meet and take photos with the 501st Midwest Garrison
• Trivia contests
• Dress up for the Teen Cosplay Contest
• Visit the Artist Alley featuring nearly 20 local artists and vendors
• Check out the Fandom Art Display
• Special Instagrammable Pop-Ups featuring an 8-foot tall Avengers logo
• And Much More!

Parking will be available at the Library, Culver Elementary School, and Village Hall. Attendees interested in taking public transportation are encouraged to take Pace Bus 410 (Niles Free Bus). Attendees must refrain from parking on Oakton Court.

Niles-Maine District Library is located at 6960 Oakton Street, the northeast corner of the Oakton and Waukegan intersection. Library hours are Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday 1-5 p.m.
