Flag at half-staff: Patriot Day, Sunday, September 11

Greetings Neighbors!

Here you go...see the end of the posting for those of you who have a fixed flag such as those mounted to a wall or post. Please let me know if you have any questions about placing your flag at half-staff or flag etiquette. Jac.charlier@gmail.com

In accordance with Public Law 107-89, the President of the United States is requested to issue a proclamation (per the requirements of Flag Code section 7(m)) for the United States Flag to be displayed at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Patriot Day, Sunday, September 11.

Unable to lower your flag?
Attaching this black ribbon to the top of a U.S. flag is an acceptable alternative for flags that cannot be lowered to half-staff. Please see the attached photo.
