Man dies crashing car into NPD building.
A Des Plaines man died as a result of him crashing his Hyundai Sonata into the Niles Police Department building.
A Des Plaines man is dead after crashing his car into the NPD building early Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Julian Hernandez of Des Plaines.
He was apparently traveling at a very high rate of speed when he crashed into a pole after jumping the curb before coming to rest inside the underground parking garage of the NPD.

As of 9:30 pm Wednesday, crews were seen still exacting repairs due to the accident.
No word on why the deceased was driving so fast or if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol as of the writing of this article.
