Mosquito Spraying Tuesday Night In Niles, Morton Grove
The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District is going to be spraying in town tonight starting at 8 p.m.

NILES-MORTON GROVE, IL — The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District is going to be spraying to help control the mosquito population Tuesday night. Avoid the areas in the map below between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials will be conducting "targeted adult mosquito control operations" in Morton Grove, Niles, Skokie and Lincolnwood.
The district said 1o4 of the 933 batches of mosquitoes recovered from traps in 2018 had tested positive for West Nile virus. The level of West Nile virus on the North Shore is moderate but still increasing, according to the district.
