The mission of the Northwest-Siders for Racial Equity and Justice is to educate, engage, and mobilize Northwest residents -city and suburbs alike- to 1) ensure equitable, rapid, and full implementation of the Chicago Police Consent Decree, and 2) build equitable and wide avenues for community voices in policing, city and suburbs alike. (We are starting with the Chicago Police Consent Decree but not limiting our work there.)

Northwest-Siders for Racial Equity and Justice will be exclusively resident-powered, with all Northwest area -city and suburbs alike- residents and leaders, and especially our black and brown neighbors, invited to be part of and lead this democratic initiative.
