Niles Purchases Million Dollar Fire Truck

The village of Niles has purchased a new fire truck at the cost of $1,087,663, the Journal & Topics reports.

Village trustees approved the purchase of the truck last week. Payments will be made over the course of five years with interest slated to cost around $30,000. It will take a few months before the truck is built and sent to the village, according to the newspaper.
