Niles Doc Writes Rx For 11,000 Pills; State Suspends Medical License

The state said he wrote prescriptions for people who were not his patients, the Daily Herald reported.


Amid accusations that he inappropriately wrote prescriptions to provide a person with 11,000 tablets of the painkiller Oxycodone, the state has suspended the medical license of a Niles doctor, the Daily Herald reported. 

Dr. Gregory M. Bulava was scheduled to have a hearing Monday by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The department said he wrote prescriptions for people who were not his patients.
