Niles-Maine District Library Board of Trustees Determine Plan to Fill Trustee Vacancy

At the regular meeting of the Niles-Maine District Library Board of Trustees on September 16, 2020, Library Trustees determined a plan to fill the recent trustee vacancy.

The Board of Trustees is accepting letters of interest for the trustee position recently vacated by Trustee Tim Spadoni. Candidates should include relevant past experience, why they would like to serve on the Library Board, and whether they are library users in their letters. Letters should be sent by email to trustees@nileslibrary.org or to Executive Director Susan Lempke, Niles-Maine District Library, 6960 Oakton St., Niles IL 60714. All letters of interest must be received no later than Monday, October 12, 2020. The Board will interview and choose a new trustee virtually during a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2020. The new trustee will serve the remainder of Trustee Spadoni’s term which expires in May 2021.
