Niles-Maine Library Hosts Annual Preschool & Daycare Fair

The Annual Preschool & Daycare Fair will be held at the Library on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Finding the right preschool or daycare for your child can be stressful. Thankfully, the Niles-Maine District Library is making this process much easier by inviting parents to meet with more than 30 local representatives in one place. The Annual Preschool & Daycare Fair will be held at the Library on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The first 25 families will receive a free picture book!

Parents are encouraged to bring their questions and concerns to the pre-fair FAQ session from 10-10:30 a.m., where Cheryl Joseph, Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education at Oakton Community College, will help parents decide how to choose a philosophy of childcare that best fits their family values and the questions to ask when evaluating a childcare center.

From 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., parents will be able to meet with preschool and daycare representatives from the local community. The representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and parents will be able to take home brochures as they sort through this important decision.
