Niles Police ask for public's help after hit and run injures woman
A woman was struck by a car on N. Greenwood Ave. last Wednesday.
Niles Police are asking for help finding the driver of a black Jeep Patriot that struck a woman and left her with extensive injuries on last Wednesday night, according to the Niles Herald-Spectator.
The woman is an employee of a business near the 9600 block of N. Greenwood Ave. She was pushing shopping carts across the street when the northbound vehicle struck her and kept driving without stopping or slowing down. The black Jeep Patriot had Illinois plates and tinted rear driver-side and passenger-side windows.
The car is expected to have front end damage from striking shopping carts. Anyone with information should call Niles Police at 847-588-6500.
