Niles-Morton Grove Residents React to Legalization of Concealed Carry

North Shore residents are taking to Facebook to comment on concealed carry in Illinois. 

Illinois became the last state in the country yesterday to legalize concealed carry after the House and Senate voted to override Gov. Pat Quinn's amendatory veto of concealed carry regulations, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Area residents sounded off on the issue on Niles-Morton Grove's Facebook page:

It’s not going to affect street violence at all”

“Whether good citizens are armed or not, it will make criminals think twice. Glad to see Illinois join the rest of the country”

“It should bring down street crime somewhat.”
