Northridge Senior Wins National High Jump Championship

Forest Moses nearly missed indoor national record.

Forest Moses, a Highland Park resident and Northridge Prep High School senior, high jumped to victory at the USATF National Hershey Youth Indoor Championships earlier this month in Landover, Maryland.

His 1.95M jump was good enough to win the competition and nearly missed setting the USATF indoor national record at 2.01.

The four-time IHSA Track and Field championship participant qualified for the indoor championships with a dominant 1.93 performance at Purdue University.
