Oak Park Playground Area Open Again

Oak Park, in Niles, located at Ottawa & Main is open for fun after the extensive renovation work that closed the park for over a month.

Numerous families were out in force having fun with the new playground equipment, which replaced equipment that had been there for over 30 years.

The renovation brought Oak Park's playground section more in line with other parks' more modern equipment.

The kids seemed to love the new spinning wheel the most, as it was packed constantly.

A climbing wall and lots of spider web types of climbing space are present as well as the usual slides and swing sets.
