Possible Domestic Situation in Niles

Niles Police & Fire responded to a possible domestic situation Tuesday, June 11 at around 10am near the intersection of Oleander & Monroe, about 1/2 the way up Oleander.

Niles police and detectives converged upon the scene where paramedics were working as a male was taken out on a stretcher to the ambulance.

Two witness stated they heard some loud bangs like firecrackers or possibly gunshots.

Not only were uniform Niles police on site, but Detectives showed up just as this reporter started filming, so this was not the usual run of the mill police call, when detectives are called onsite for investigation.
