Power Outage in Niles Due To Tree Trimming

ComEd has shut power to approximately 250 homes while Davey crews cut down a large birch tree in the 8000 block of Oconto avenue.

ComEd has shut power to approximately 250 homes while Davey crews cut down a large birch tree in the 8000 block of Oconto avenue.

ComEd estimates power to be out until at least 4:15pm today, and after speaking with neighbors, that timeframe is likely to adjust forward.

Power has been restored as of 2:08 this afternoon.
