Then the Unity in Community Citizens Convening is for you!

Join with your neighbors from all over the Northwest Area (city and suburbs alike) on Thursday, March 23 from 7 PM - 8:30 PM at the Morton Grove Civic Center, 6140 W. Dempster. We'll meet on the 2nd floor and you can easily park in the lot or lock up your bike.

We'll tackle two critical activities together at our Thursday, March 23 citizens convening.

First, we'll agree on 1-2 Action Items we can do within 90 days. These are Action Items from January and February and now we only have to narrow them down, plan and then do them within 90 days. Second, we'll do a 15 minute exercise specifically designed to get us doing what we said we would - discuss, educate and reflect on race relations to inform our actions.

Unity in Community is a citizen-led initiative. Our purpose is to be part of the solution to better race relations in the Northwest Area (city and suburbs alike). Unity in Community provides an open space for citizens to talk and listen to each other - that means all citizens, not just those we know, like or agree with.We're about discussion, education, reflection and action.
