Thousands Of Ice Cream Sundaes Donated To Kids Battling Cancer

Every month for years, the owner of the Dairy Queen in Niles has been providing 200 sundaes to a local children's hospital.

PARK RIDGE, IL — For years, the owner of a Niles ice cream shop has supported kids undergoing treatment for childhood cancers. Rob Wagner, owner of the Dairy Queen donates 200 ice cream sundaes one Friday a month to patients at the pediatric oncology unit of Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, WLS-TV reported. Last month, for the first time, he met some of the children who receive his sweet gifts.
