"The time is always right to do what is right" - Only 5 More Days Unitl Our 1st Inaugural Northwest MLK Unity in Community Dinner

Greetings Neighbors!

In 5 days a growing group of neighbors will host the 1st Inaugural Northwest Martin Luther King Jr. "Unity in Community" Dinner. Can you join us on Monday, January 16 from 6:30 PM - 8 PM?

To RSVP today or if you have questions, send an email with your name and number of participants to Jac Charlier at jac.charlier@gmail.com or to Adele Bach at adelebach@earthlink.net.

We'll gather together as neighbors for a meal at the Wildwood Tavern (6480 W. Touhy) to discuss, to share and to act in the spirit of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., our fellow American citizen who accomplished great things for so many of us. To get our conversation going, we'll take a look at our national perceptions and beliefs about white and black America using some recent information from the Pew Center, a well-respected organization that helps Americans understand what Americans are thinking. Here's the link to the June 2016 5 Key Takeaways Report Brief that we'll be sharing during the dinner: http://www.pewresearch.org/fac...

All ages are very much welcome. Parking is easy. Public transportation is available. Suburbs and city alike are invited. Cost per person for the meal is $22/person, and all funds go to Wildwood Tavern for the food.
