Two Vehicle Crash in Niles

A Dodge Charger and Lexus RX350 collided at Dempster & Oketo Wednesday night in front of the Uni-Mart on Dempster in Niles, IL Wednesday night.

A Dodge Charger was eastbound on Dempster approaching Oketo when the Lexus, traveling westbound turned left, heading north and the t-bone collision occurred. The Lexus was hit on the passenger side, front door and fender, while the Dodge was a front end impact.

Both vehicles were badly damaged & totaled, as well as both had spun around and hit the building, causing further damage to vehicle areas not directly linked to the initial impact.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, no word on injuries, but looking at the level of vehicular damage, the occupants had to have been injured in some manner.

Both Niles and Morton Grove emergency personnel responded and were present as of 9:45pm.
