The brief foot chase ended with Colon and an officer on the ground need the corner of Waukegan Road and West Niles Terrace.

Zakula declined to say if Colon stole anything or if anything appeared missing from inside the bowling alley, citing the ongoing investigation.
Prosecutors approved a single felony count of burglary. Colon appeared before a judge at a bond hearing and was released on a recognizance bond Thursday afternoon, according to Cook County Sheriff's Office.
According to Wisconsin court records, Colon has been awaiting trial since March in Brown County court on four misdemeanor counts of retail theft and one count of resisting arrest connected to allegations involving his conduct at Kohls, Menards and Walmart.
