Annual Summer Carnival in Niles

The annual fund raising carnival at St John Brebeuf School, located at Harlem & Monroe in Niles has officially kicked off.

The yearly carnival at St John Brebeuf School, located at Harlem & Monroe in Niles has officially kicked off.

Fantasy Amusement has setup their rides and the carnival is open for business thru the July 4th weekend.

Rides, food, games and music will be available for the public. No admission fee is required for the carnival section, but you do have to purchase ride tickets which are $1.25 per ticket, or you can pay $30 for an all ride wrist band that goes from 6pm until close, which is 11pm.

The music stage can be seen and heard by all, but if you want to sit at the tables to relax or eat, they will charge you a $5 fee, supposedly for the concert that night, but it's really just to sit down, as there are no other tables setup anywhere else.

Additionally, you can be served alcohol while inside the plastic fencing that is set up in the food and music stage area, and you will be given a wrist band to identify you as having paid the entrance fee so you can drink alcohol.
