You Can Say "Thank You on Thanksgiving" To Our Troops

Greetings My Neighbors,

In case you had not heard, we will have 50 of our US military personnel with us right here in our community on Thanksgiving Day. You are invited to join with them as we serve them a great Thanksgiving Day meal and help them enjoy some well deserved shore leave. You can stop by for 15 minutes or a couple of hours. Have something to bake and bring over - you can do that too.

Full details are on the Patch event link. It's Thursday, Nov 23 from 9 AM - 3 PM at the American Legion Post #134, 6144 W. Dempster. Please contact me if you wish to stop by, drop off some homemade goodies or have another idea. These are our Troops and they deserve our time and thanks.

Can't make it but want to donate to our Post so we can continue doing this every Thanksgiving? You can do that too.
