Fourth of July Events Planned Throughout Day in Northbrook
A race, pancake breakfast and fireworks display are among activities planned this year.
Several events are planned for the Fourth of July in the village of Northbrook this year.
The Northbrook Park District and Village of Northbrook have partnered to collaborate in the celebration since the Northbrook 4th of July Association disbanded two years ago. This year, a race, parade, pancake breakfast, contests and live music are planned.
Ray day registration begins at 6:15 a.m., with a 7:30 a.m. starting time planned at Techny Prairie Park and Fields for the Liberty Loop 5K and Liberty Lap Fun Run. Other events are planned for the Ed Rudolph Velodrome at 1479 Maple Ave.
