Burglars Leave Northbrook Business With $200,000, Tools: Police

The break-in took place around 3:15 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Holste Road. Police are searching for three suspects who were involved.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Northbrook Police were called to the report of a ransacked office building Friday morning and are now searching for three suspects that got away with more than $200,000 and as well as tools and numerous vehicle titles, police said.

The early-morning burglary took place in the 1800 block of Holste Road and police said that officers arrived at 6:15 a.m. after being called, police said. Police found a rear window to the building broken and believe that the suspects entered the business through the broken window and remained inside for approximately 45 minutes, police said.

Surveillance video shows that two vehicles were parked in the lot of the business at 3:15 a.m. and that three people walked toward the back of the building before two went inside, police said in a news release. Both vehicles were seen on video leaving the lot at 4 a.m., police said.

Police did not provide any further information about the incident or the description of the suspect and continue to investigate the burglary.
