Burglary on Wellington, Attempted Burglary on Voltz
A golfer also reported skateboarders on the putting green.

Bike theft
Someone stole a blue and black bike with the number “57” on the shaft that was locked to a rack outside Wood Oaks Junior High Sept. 11. The bike, whose brand is unknown, is worth $320.

Shattered window
Someone shattered a double-pane glass window between 5 and 6 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 2900 block of Keystone. Officers found a football in the bushes below the window. It is unknown if the window was broken by the football, which belongs to the resident, or was broken another way.

Burglary
A resident of the 100 block of Wellington came home Sept. 12 and found the front door open and the patio door ajar. Inside, he discovered two cabinets in the master bedroom that were ransacked. Initially, the resident believes that two watches had been stolen but a complete list will be supplied later. The burglary happened between 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Identity theft
A resident received a notification from LifeLock that a change of address was made to his personal credit information. He related that he did not make the change of address, which was an address in North Hollywood, CA. He contacted Trans Union and was told that a credit card was opened in his name and had a balance of $1,706. The resident believes that his information may have been compromised when he was a patient at a hospital and several computers with patient information were stolen.
Skateboards on golf course
A man was playing golf at 2 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 1700 block of Techny when he saw a group of five youths around 12 years old walking on the access road carrying skateboards. He saw one of them walk onto the putting green of the 3rd hole and try to ride a skateboard on the putting surface. The park district will check to determine if any damage occurred.
Flattened tires
A man discovered the two rear tires on his company vehicle were flat. This occurred in the 900 block of Bermuda Dunes between Sept. 13 and 14. It is unknown how the damage occurred.
Burglary
A resident of the 2200 block of Valencia Drive reported that between Sept. 4 and 15, someone entered her residence and took money and statutes from the home. She discovered a pillowcase was missing. The complainant reported she could not locate any signs of forced entry and believes that she may have left several patio doors unlocked while the house was empty.
Cell phone stolen from locker
Someone stole a cell phone from a gym locker at Woods Oak Junior High School Sept. 16.
Purse grabbed from car
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and took a purse in the 1700 block of Pfingsten Road overnight Sept. 16. The purse was valued at $300, and contained ID and medication.
Truck damaged
The complainant reported that offenders had damaged his vehicle, a 2001 Ford truck, Someone damaged a Ford truck in the 1000 block of Longaker Driver, possibly by shooting it with BB pellets. The complainant did not have a time frame for when the damage occurred.
Catalytic convertor stolen
Someone stole a catalytic convertor from a Ford pickup truck parked in the front parking lot of a business in the 1900 block of Raymond Drive Sept. 18. It will cost $500 to replace.
Attempted burglary
Officers responded to the burglar alarm activation at a residence in the 1500 block of Voltz Road a little before 10 p.m. Sept. 18. Officers located a shattered sliding glass door at the rear of the home. Nothing appeared disturbed inside. It did not appear that anyone had entered the home.
Storm door broken
A resident in the 3700 block of Dauphine said she returned home Sept. 18 after being gone all day and found her front storm door glass broken.
