Community Invited to Northbrook Fire Department's Open House Saturday
Children will enjoy free giveaways, including fire helmets, stickers and coloring books. Sparky the Fire Dog will be in attendance.

In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, the Northbrook Fire Department will host its 30th annual Open House from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 10, at Fire Station 11, 740 Dundee Road.
The fire engines, aerial ladder truck, squad truck and ambulances will be on display. Firefighters and Fire Prevention Inspectors will be giving tours and answering questions.
