Endorsement Of Scott Bush: Letter
Bush "knows and fully understands how Northbrook works," says letter from fellow firefighter.

Even though Scott Bush will not take a donation from his IAFF Local 1894, I support Bush for village trustee. Having known Scott since he was hired as a Northbrook Firefighter, I know Scott to be a level headed civil servant and he has always been more than competent when it comes to fire calls, EMS calls or helping us raise money for charity.

Scott was raised in Northbrook, raises his family in Northbrook and also runs a couple businesses out of Northbrook. I've seen the attacks made against him and they are all unfortunate as I don't believe any of his opponents even know him. I encourage Scott to continue making attempts to bring Northbrook to the people. I have faith that Scott Bush would be a board member that knows and fully understands how Northbrook works.
I read Trustee Heller's endorsement and agree with him that diversity among the Board is not a bad thing. Scott Bush is not a lawyer, but he would be of great value to the citizens of Northbrook as a village trustee. Scott would surely have some things to learn from the lawyers in the group but his experiences as both a small business owner and firefighter would surely offer him many teaching moments as well.

Civil servants come in all shapes and sizes. Cooperation amongst them as they make decisions could never be a bad thing. I look forward to continue working hard with both the Village Board (regardless of who wins the positions) and their staff in the future.
