Flooding Closes Willow Road In Northbrook
Willow Road Is expected to remain closed overnight between Patriot and Shermer.
NORTHBROOK, IL — The Illinois Department of Transportation Tuesday afternoon closed Willow Road between Shermer Road and Patriot Boulevard due to flooding. The road is expected to remain closed overnight, according to a village spokesperson. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route and exercise care traveling through the area.
UPDATE: The roadway was reopened by 9 a.m. Wednesday.
