NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

INCIDENTS

THEFT

A resident in the 1200 block of Daryl Lane reported at 1:41 p.m. Jun 19 they received a notification from Amazon that a package delivery was made to their residence. The complainant reported that when they returned home the package had been taken by someone.

CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT

An officer on patrol in area of Techny Prairie Park, 1700 block of Techny Road, found new graffiti at 9:36 p.m. June 20 at the entrance to the skate park.

ILLEGAL DUMPING

An employee at Wiggly Tails, 1900 block of Holste Road, called police at 9:36 a.m. June 21 to report someone dumped numerous items in the bushes by the building without permission.

An Ellendale Drive resident reported at 11:07 a.m. June 22 they had been notified that several new credit and service accounts had been established in their name by someone without their permission.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

A person called police at 4 p.m June 23 to report they have been doing business with a store in the 3300 block of Commercial Avenue for several years and had recently paid again for services and dropped off personal items with them. The complainant said that they learned that the business has abruptly closed. The complainant said that the owners have not returned any calls or emails regarding the return of complainant’s property.
