The North Suburban YMCA is collecting used laptop computers (with charging cords) to donate to children in the Chicagoland area who do not receive laptops from their schools. This will enable e-learning and help kids receive online tutoring. Drop off computers in a bin located at the entrance to the North Suburban YMCA, located at 2705 Techny Rd. in Northbrook. The Y is also looking for volunteers who would like to donate their time to tutor a child. Contact the Y's Adult Program Coordinator Karen Brownlee at kbrownlee@nsymca.org.
