Major Water Main Breaks Leads To Northbrook Road Closure
Residents of homes that are flooded or have no heat were asked to contact the Northbrook Police Department.
NORTHBROOK, IL — Police, fire and public works crews were on the scene of a major water main break Thursday night near the intersection of Techny and Clover roads in Northbrook.
Police said Clover Road was closed north of Techny Road and an unknown number of homes were affected. Another break was reported on the other side of the village in the area of Bittersweet Drive off Dundee Road.
Residents without heat or in need of help getting out of their homes were asked to contact the Northbrook Police Department at 847-564-2060. No estimated time of completion for repairs was available as of after 11:30 p.m.
