Northbrook debates residents leaving food out for wild animals

Village will consider ground feeding legislation Tuesday.

An ordinance regulating food residents can leave in their yards for wild animals will be considered by the Northbrook Village Board Tuesday, according to a story in the Chicago Tribune.

Though the village has been looking at the issue for some time, some citizens want to make it harder for skunks, raccoons, coyotes and other wild animals to find food while others think wild animals are meant to find their own, according to the Tribune.
