NORTHBROOK, IL — The median average listing prices of homes in Northbrook reached a three-year high and the median time houses spent on the market hit a three-year low this summer, according to realtor.com data. The average home was listed for nearly $600,000 and spent just over two months on the market before sale. Recently sold Northbrook homes closed around $544,000, with monthly property taxes of about $900, as of September 2018.

For those that can afford more, the village abounds in luxurious single-family homes built during the past half century. Here are a few Northbrook homes on the market with modern designs in the $1 million range, in ascending order, by listing price:
