Northbrook Man Charged With Stalking Ex-Girlfriend
The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.
Stalking
On Oct. 8, a resident on the 3600 block of Dauphine Avenue reported Andrew J. Rosencrans, 23, of Northbrook, had visited the residence for the third time in a day, according to police. Rosencrans' ex-girlfriend lives at the home and warned him not to return, according to the report.
Officers stopped Rosencrans after he left the home in his vehicle, he was placed under arrested and charged with trespassing, police say.
On Oct. 10, officers received another report from the resident on Dauphine Avenue, saying their doorbell rung around 5:00 a.m., but no one was at the door, according to police. When the area was checked, Rosencrans was found walking around the neighborhood, police say. Rosencrans was arrested and charged with stalking, according to the police report.

Vehicular Burglary
On Oct. 13, two people on the 1200 block of Sanders Road reported the window of their cars had been broken and purses were taken, according to police.
On Oct. 10, someone on the 1900 block of Kiest Avenue reported two Garmin GPS devices and two cell phone charges were removed from his car, according to police. The car may have been unlocked, according to the report.
On Oct. 9, a resident on the 2000 block of Thornwood Lane reported his unlocked car had been burglarized, and a Nike 'Sasquatch' golf bag containing 14 Calloway 'Big Bertha' clubs, assorted woods, drivers, shoes and accessories was stolen, according to police.
On Oct. 8, a resident on the 1800 block Big Oak Lane reported someone entered two unlocked vehicles in their driveway and removed an unknown amount of change, according to police.
That night, someone on the 900 block of Meadow Road reported someone had entered a vehicle and took golf clubs and a watch, according to police.
Residential Burglary
On Oct. 10, someone on the 2400 block of Woodlawn Road said she found the side door broken open when returning to their house, according to police. Inside, the house was ransacked and the front door was unlocked, police say. The resident recalled seeing a small red or maroon car driving slowly by as they left the house, according to the report.
