Northbrook Nursing Home Owner Seeks to Add Gym to Property
Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC hopes to change the property into a rehabilitation center.

Legacy Healthcare Financial Services, which owns and manages the former Lake Cook Terrace Nursing Center, is seeking zoning variances from Northbrook’s Plan Commission that would give it permission to add a gym and change the property into a rehabilitation center, Chicago Tribune reported.
The organization plans to spend several million dollars to upgrade the property at 263 Skokie Blvd., which is now called The Grove of Northbrook Living and Rehab Center, and David Schoon, Northbrook’s economic development coordinator, says the Plan Commission is scheduled to vote on the zoning variances requests on Aug. 6, “The village always appreciates when someone comes in and makes a significant improvement to a part of town,” Schoon was quoted saying on the website.
